MRI Results

The images from your MRI exam will be interpreted by a physician who is a specially trained MRI radiologist, and the resulting report will be sent to your referring doctor as soon as it is available—usually within 24 hours of your exam. Your physician will then discuss the results with you.

Following the MRI exam, you will be given a CD before you leave that contains all of the images from your MRI study. The physician who referred you for the MRI will be able to examine these images on a desktop PC.
