New England Neurological Associates, P.C.
New England Neurological Associates is one of the largest, multidisciplinary neuroscience group practices on the East Coast, with specialists in neurosurgery, neurology, physiatry (physical medicine and rehabilitation), pain management, and psychiatry. NENA also offers a number of sub-specialty programs in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, movement disorders, vascular neurology, neuro-oncology, and neuro-behavioral medicine.
Salem Radiology
Salem Radiology provides radiologic interpretive services for Merrimack Valley MRI’s facilities in Methuen, Mass., and Salem, N.H., as well as for New England PET Imaging System’s PET-CT operation in Methuen, Mass.
Salem Radiology is a group of Board-Certified radiologists serving the diagnostic imaging needs of the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. This group includes radiologists with sub-specializations and ACR-accreditation in a number of areas, including Neuroradiology, Angiography and interventional Radiography, Breast MRI and MRI-Guided Biopsy.
Salem Radiology provices a range of diagnostic services, including x-ray, fluoroscopy, CT scanning, digital mammography, bone densitometry testing, and ultrasound. In 2006, a Salem Radiology affiliate, Salem Advanced CT Imaging (www.salemadvct.com) , installed a 64-slice CT scanner at its Salem site, providing Cardiac CT Angiography for non-invasive assessment of coronary artery disease, as well as other advanced CT applications.
New England PET Imaging System
New England PET Imaging System (“NEPET”) is a leading provider of PET-CT imaging services in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. NEPET operates fixed PET-CT services on the grounds of the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Mass., and in the Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, Mass., and provides mobile PET-CT services at Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill, Mass., Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport, Mass., and the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, New Hampshire.
PET is a highly accurate, non-invasive imaging technique for studying metabolism and biochemistry in various organs and organ systems within the body. PET provides whole body images critical to the detection, evaluation, and management of cancer, as well as focused images of the brain and cardiac tissue. All of NEPET’s sites now operate PET-CT, which combines the functional imaging capabilities of PET with the structural, anatomical detail of CT. PET is approved by Medicare and many other payors for virtually all forms of cancer.
Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network
Since 1984, the Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network (“Northeast”) has provided care for patients in their recovery from all types of disabling conditions and injury. Employing an interdisciplinary approach to meet the needs of each patient, Northeast provides therapeutic services in the acute and subacute inpatient settings, as well as in almost twenty outpatient centers.
Northeast provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary acute rehabilitation services in its inpatient facilites in Salem, New Hampshire and Nashua, New Hampshire, and provides outpatient rehabilitation services in the following locations:
In Massachusetts: Andover, Billerica, Chelmsford, Gloucester, Haverhill, Lawrence, Lowell, Newburyport, North Andover, Stoneham, Westford
In New Hampshire: Nashua, Pelham, Plaistow, Salem, Windham
